Its an interesting film, with a dose of sensible comedy.Garry Waraich, makes his debut as a lead actor in the film. Garry has already done two films, Hashar and Ekam before Cross Connection. Sumandeep is the leading lady who is a stage artiste, obviously excited about the film. And so is actor BN Sharma who plays the role of a strict Brigadier in the film.The thoughtful director, Nishant has been Hrishikesh’s assistant when the former went to Mumbai after giving his board exams.Though Nishant became a full-time director in 1992, he still assisted Hrishikesh Mukherjee in almost all films, and some 70 odd telefilms. He has been much appreciated for his works Choti See Mulaqaat, Chundari Odhasi Maharo Bir, Lala Hardol, Meree Pyaari Nimmo and Taanko Bhid Gayo.
The producer of the film, Jasbir Dhillon is from theatre background. He has done line production and casting for films like Dev D, Love Aaj Kal and various Gurdas Maan, Babbu Mann and Harbhajan Mann films
